GEMS American Academy in Abu Dhabi offers a Premium American curriculum education with tuition fees ranging from AED 57,850 for Pre-K through KG2, rising to AED 80,610 for Grades 1 through 12. These fees are set in accordance with the ADEK-established School Fee Framework and are approved annually by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge. Fees are structured across three terms, with Term 1 representing approximately 40% of the annual fee and Terms 2 and 3 each representing approximately 30%.
As a Premium school, tuition fees are inclusive of textbooks (on loan), supplementary books (on loan), and materials — including school supplies during the Elementary years. This all-in approach provides strong value for families, reducing the number of additional costs to manage. Uniforms, lunches, and school transport are not included in the tuition fee, though the school operates a bus service on a fee-for-service basis. Grade 11–12 AP exams and Grade 12 IB exams also incur additional per-exam charges.
For new admissions, a registration fee equivalent to 5% of the annual tuition fee is payable upon acceptance of the Offer Letter. This fee is non-refundable but is adjustable against the first term's tuition once the student joins. A similar 5% re-enrolment fee applies each year to secure a student's place, also adjustable against first-term fees. Sibling discounts are available starting from the third child, offering families with multiple children meaningful savings on tuition.
