KHDA Inspection Results (Decoded)
DSIB inspectors rated self-evaluation and improvement planning as Acceptable - the only below-Good grade in the leadership domain. The recommendation is to ensure better alignment between data analysis and the self-evaluation process, and to provide leaders at all levels with dedicated time for monitoring teaching and learning.
Attainment in Islamic Education and Arabic as a First Language remains at Acceptable in Secondary and Post-16. The DSIB specifically recommends improving these outcomes, and notes that the impact of additional support for Emirati students in international assessments is not yet evident.

Fees & Value for Money
The Sheffield Private School offers a British curriculum education from FS1 through Year 13, with tuition fees for the 2025–26 academic year ranging from AED 23,631 for Foundation Stage to AED 44,563 for Sixth Form (Years 12–13). Fees are structured across five bands, reflecting the increasing resources and specialist teaching required at each stage of education. The school has received a Good overall DSIB rating consistently, offering strong value relative to its fee positioning in the Dubai private school market.
Tuition fees are payable in three termly instalments, with a deposit of 5% of annual fees required upon acceptance of a place, which is then deducted from the first term's balance. An annual Book Fee (ranging from AED 485 to AED 1,823 depending on year group) covers all academic resources including textbooks, exercise books, and online resources. It is important to note that tuition fees do not include charges for external examinations, uniform, transport, extra-curricular activities, or educational trips.
Families with multiple children enrolled benefit from a structured sibling discount scheme, with discounts of 5% for the second child, 15% for the third, 25% for the fourth, and 30% for the fifth child. A re-registration deposit of 5% of annual fees is due on the first day of Term 3 each year to secure a place for the following academic year, and this deposit is fully refundable if the student leaves the UAE.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
THE “RIGHT FIT”
Families seeking an affordable British curriculum school in Dubai with a genuine pastoral culture, a diverse and inclusive community, and a credible IGCSE-to-A Level pathway - particularly those with multiple children who can benefit from the sibling discount structure.
THE “WRONG FIT”
Families primarily motivated by top-decile exam results, elite university placement records, or a prestige school brand; also not ideal for those requiring exceptional Arabic language outcomes or a highly selective academic environment.
We looked at much more expensive schools and honestly could not justify the difference. Sheffield has given our children a happy, safe education with teachers who really care. The value is extraordinary.
