The Philippine Global School offers the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) curriculum, spanning KG1 through Grade 10 — making it one of only two Philippine curriculum schools in Abu Dhabi among the city's 233 private schools. Instruction is delivered in English and Filipino, with mandatory UAE Ministry of Education subjects integrated across all phases, including Arabic, Moral Education, and Islamic Studies for Muslim students. The curriculum covers core disciplines of Mathematics, Science, English, Filipino, and Social Studies, grounded in a God-centered educational philosophy that weaves Filipino cultural values and UAE national identity throughout school life.

TPGS provides both SEN/Inclusion and Gifted and Talented provisions, supported by formal written policies aligned with ADEK requirements. The school's inclusion framework commits to addressing the teaching, learning, and well-being needs of students across the full ability spectrum. Approximately 0.98% of the student body are students of determination, as recorded in the 2021–22 inspection. No bilingual dual-language track, vocational pathway, or post-Grade 10 provision is currently available — a meaningful structural gap for families seeking continuity through to university entry.

The most recent ADEK inspection, conducted in June 2022, rated TPGS Acceptable overall — the minimum standard required for schools wishing to expand their provision. This rating has been held consistently since 2016–17, representing four consecutive inspection cycles without progression. Among the two Philippine curriculum schools in Abu Dhabi, both hold an Acceptable rating, placing TPGS in line with its direct curriculum peers but below the broader Abu Dhabi private school landscape, where 83 schools hold a Good rating and 48 a Very Good rating. Inspectors identified genuine strengths: Health and Safety rated Good across all phases, Care and Support rated Good across all phases, and Partnerships with Parents rated Good. Teaching and Assessment in the KG phase were also rated Good, with students demonstrating Good progress in Mathematics and English at KG level, and Good attainment and progress in Social Studies across Cycle 1 and Cycle 2.

However, inspectors flagged persistent weaknesses in the older phases. Teaching and Assessment in Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 were rated only Acceptable, as were attainment and progress in English, Mathematics, Sciences, Arabic, and Islamic Education across those phases. Leadership dimensions — including Effectiveness of Leadership, Self-Evaluation and Improvement, Governance, and Management — were all rated Acceptable, signalling that the school's capacity to drive its own improvement remains limited. Notably, 29% of inspection measures were not evaluated in the 2021–22 cycle, meaning a full picture of performance across all standards is not yet available to parents.

TPGS participates in the Philippine Schools Athletic Meet (PSAM), an inter-school competition among Philippine schools across the UAE, providing students with a meaningful co-curricular and cultural touchpoint. The school also references participation in TIMSS and PISA assessments on its website, though specific results have not been published in a format available for independent review. University destination data is not available, which is partly explained by the school's current ceiling of Grade 10 — students must transfer elsewhere to complete secondary education. For families within Abu Dhabi's large Filipino community seeking an affordable, culturally anchored education rooted in the DepEd framework, TPGS offers a distinctive and accessible option. Those prioritising academic progression beyond Grade 10 or seeking inspection ratings above Acceptable will need to weigh these structural limitations carefully.
