KHDA Inspection Results (Decoded)
Arabic as a First Language attainment is rated only Acceptable in both Primary and Secondary. Islamic Education attainment is Good but improving. The school has been directed to raise consistency of teaching quality in these subjects and to improve students' accuracy in Qur'anic recitation.
Teaching quality is not consistent across all phases and subjects. The school development plan lacks measurable success criteria, and department plans are not sufficiently aligned to school-wide priorities. Inspectors recommend greater consistency in achievement, teaching, assessment, and leadership planning.
Inspection History
Fees & Value for Money
Repton Al Barsha offers a British curriculum education from FS1 through Year 13, with tuition fees for the 2025–26 academic year ranging from AED 53,540 for FS1 up to AED 89,774 for Years 7 through 13. The fee structure is tiered across six phases — Foundation Stage, First School, Lower Junior, Upper Junior, Senior School, and Sixth Form — reflecting the increasing resources and specialist teaching involved at each stage. The school holds a Very Good KHDA rating, consistently maintained across multiple inspection cycles, which positions it among the stronger-performing British curriculum schools in Dubai.
Tuition fees are payable either in full at the start of the academic year or across three instalments: 40% in August (Term 1), 30% in December (Term 2), and 30% in March (Term 3). It is important to note that fees do not cover school lunches, transportation, or educational trips, and some extracurricular activities with external providers may carry additional charges. New pupils are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the annual tuition fee upon accepting an offer, while returning pupils pay a 5% deposit — both of which are deducted from the annual tuition fees in line with KHDA regulations.
An application fee of AED 500 (AED 525 inclusive of VAT) is charged per application to cover standard assessment costs and is not deductible from tuition fees. Refunds are processed in accordance with KHDA guidelines, with deductions based on the duration of enrolment. Parents are encouraged to review the KHDA School Fees Fact Sheets, published annually for each year group, to access a full and transparent breakdown of all mandatory and optional fees applicable during the academic year.
