Fairgreen International School is led by School Director Edward Charles Pearce, who has been in post since 1 August 2021. The leadership structure beneath him is well-developed, with a dedicated secondary team headed by Secondary Principal Timothy Rogers and Secondary Vice Principal Holli Pekhazis, and a primary team under Primary Principal Matthew Greenwood and Primary Vice Principal Andy Parkin. This dual-principal model reflects the school's scale and its commitment to phase-specific leadership. The school is operated by Esol Education, a group with a 30-year relationship with the IB Organisation and a portfolio of internationally accredited schools.

The KHDA's 2023–2024 inspection rated the effectiveness of leadership as Good and governance as Very Good. Governors are described as supportive and actively checking the accuracy of the school's self-review — a positive signal of engaged, accountable oversight. The inspection highlighted the clear vision of leaders as one of the school's defining strengths, noting it is well understood across the community and anchors Fairgreen's internationally minded, sustainability-focused and inclusive identity. That said, inspectors noted that leaders have not yet been fully effective in raising achievement in Islamic Education and Arabic, and called for more rigorous monitoring of school improvement plans — areas that will require sustained attention from the leadership team.

On staffing, Fairgreen employs 95 teachers and 43 teaching assistants across a school of 997 students, producing a student-to-teacher ratio of 1:10. This is notably more favourable than the Dubai private school average of 1:13.6 across 204 schools with ratio data, and compares well among IB curriculum schools in Dubai. The largest nationality group among teachers is UK-trained, consistent with the school's IB and English-medium focus. Teaching quality was rated Good overall by the KHDA, with Very Good noted specifically in the Diploma Programme. Inspectors observed that teaching is steadily improving, particularly in PYP and DP, driven by more effective lesson planning and better understanding of student needs. Consistency across phases — especially in MYP — remains an area for development. Parent engagement was rated Very Good, with the inspection report describing a highly supportive parent community. A parent representative sits on the school's Sustainability Committee, and an annual parent survey informs school improvement. The school holds Green School Platinum status, an external recognition of its sustainability programme, and health and safety was rated Outstanding across all phases — a rare distinction that speaks to the strength of the school's operational culture.
