Dubai Heights Academy delivers the National Curriculum for England from EYFS through to Year 11, with GCSE and IGCSE qualifications at Key Stage 4 and a newly launched A-Level and BTEC Sixth Form pathway through the Altumuh Sixth Form Centre. The school sits within a crowded field — British curriculum schools are the most common in Dubai, numbering 105 across the city — but DHA distinguishes itself through a combination of inclusive provision, specialist enrichment, and an unusually intimate learning environment for a school of its ambitions.

The 2023–24 KHDA inspection awarded DHA an overall rating of Very Good, an improvement on two consecutive Good ratings in 2021–22 and 2022–23. Among the 105 British curriculum schools in Dubai, only 24 hold a Very Good rating, placing DHA in a competitive upper tier. Inspectors rated student progress in English, mathematics, and science as Very Good across all phases, with science attainment reaching Very Good in both Primary and Secondary — a genuine standout. English attainment was rated Very Good in Foundation Stage and good thereafter. The school's PIRLS 2021 overall score of 512 against a national target of 547 was rated acceptable, and improving reading outcomes across all subjects remains an active priority. Standardised benchmark assessments show a more encouraging picture: English rated very good, mathematics good, and science outstanding.

What makes DHA academically distinctive is the depth of its specialist programming. The school is the only school outside the United States to deliver an AI STEAM curriculum developed in collaboration with MIT's Media Lab, delivered on-site by a dedicated MIT consultant. The ASDAN curriculum provides a fully accredited alternative pathway for Students of Determination who cannot access the full UK programme — a provision inspectors rated as part of an overall inclusion framework described as excellent. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, LAMDA Drama Examinations, and the Tommy Fleetwood Academy Golf Programme extend the academic offer into recognised co-curricular qualifications. The school is also one of only six schools in the UAE invited to participate in the Emirates Literature Foundation's Reading for Pleasure Initiative, a direct response to the reading literacy gaps identified in inspection.

Inspectors flagged several areas requiring sustained attention. The most pressing is translating strong progress rates into stronger attainment, particularly in Arabic and Islamic Education, where attainment remains at acceptable across both Primary and Secondary. Arab students' comprehension of Islamic principles through Arabic language skills was specifically cited for development. Inspectors also noted that student independence and self-reliance are not yet consistently promoted across lessons, and that opportunities for extended discussion — particularly in upper Primary and Secondary — remain limited. Community engagement and contributions to national and international initiatives were identified as areas where the school should become more proactive. No published GCSE, A-Level, or IB results are yet available, which is expected given the school's stage of development; the first Sixth Form cohort began A-Level and BTEC studies in September 2025.

Compared to peer British curriculum schools, DHA's student-to-teacher ratio of 1:9 is notably more favourable than the Dubai city average of 13.6 students per teacher, supporting the personalised teaching approach inspectors praised. The school's discounted fee structure — from AED 30,000 — sits well below the median annual fee for British curriculum schools in Dubai of AED 49,630, making it one of the more accessible Very Good-rated British schools in the city. University destination data is not yet available given the school's Sixth Form is in its first year of operation.
