Our Curriculum
The curriculum at DBS is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by ‘Wow Learning’, the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We welcome a wide range of students to study a curriculum, which is designed to extend and excite all of them, whatever their interests or ability. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme (ECA).

Our Teacher and Staff

The majority of our staff are British teachers and have been recruited from the UK and leading British international schools around the world. All of our teachers are qualified to degree level, hold a PGCE (Teaching Certificate) and have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). We are proud of the diversity and high quality of our staff who have experience of a range of educational systems including The National Curriculum for England, the International Baccalaureate and the Australian Curriculum.
