KHDA Inspection Results (Decoded)
Inspectors identified uneven implementation of common lesson planning approaches and inconsistent differentiation for higher-attaining students across Primary and Secondary subjects. Raising attainment in English is the single most pressing academic priority.
Science laboratories are described as underdeveloped and the library lacks sufficient Arabic texts - physical resource gaps that limit the quality of learning in these areas and require targeted investment.

Fees & Value for Money
Capital School in Al Qusais, Dubai, offers a British curriculum (National Curriculum for England) from FS1 through Year 13, leading to GCSE and A-Level qualifications, with the possibility of the IB Diploma Programme. For the 2025–26 academic year, tuition fees range from AED 23,000 for FS1 up to AED 48,000 for Years 12 and 13, placing the school in the mid-range tier for British curriculum schools in Dubai. Fees are paid in three termly instalments split 40% in Term 1, 30% in Term 2, and 30% in Term 3, providing families with a structured and manageable payment schedule. A registration deposit of 10% of total annual tuition fees is required upon acceptance of a place; this deposit is non-refundable but is deducted from the annual tuition fees. An application and assessment fee of AED 500 is also applicable. Sibling discounts are available for families with multiple children enrolled, and corporate employee discounts may also be available upon request from the admissions team.
Capital School offers an academic excellence scholarship of up to 50% of tuition fees for eligible students from Year 7 onwards, making secondary education more accessible for high-achieving pupils. All fees are subject to KHDA guidelines, and families are encouraged to review the KHDA-approved school fee fact sheet for full regulatory details.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
THE “RIGHT FIT”
Families from Al Qusais, Al Nahda and Deira seeking genuine British curriculum education at mid-range fees, particularly those with children in Early Years or lower Primary where the school's Very Good provision is a clear differentiator. Also well-suited to families of students of determination, given the Very Good inclusion rating.
THE “WRONG FIT”
Families whose primary goal is elite UK university placement for academically high-achieving students, or those who require consistently outstanding teaching across all phases and subjects - the school's English attainment ratings in Primary and Secondary remain Acceptable, and differentiation for gifted students is inconsistent.
We looked at several schools in the area and Capital stood out because of the facilities and the British teachers. Three years on, my children are happy, well-supported, and genuinely enjoy going to school. For the fees, I don't think you can do better in this part of Dubai.
