Small World Nursery originally opened in September 1988 followed by Small World 2 in September 1989.  At the end of 2006, both nurseries were combined and relocated to new premises in Jumeirah 2. Small World Nursery is in Jumeirah 2, behind Emirates Hospital.  It is the sister nursery of Child’s Play Nursery in Umm Suqeim 2. Small World incorporates a unique and distinctive approach to educating children, aiming to enable each stage of growth to be fully and vividly enjoyed and experienced.  We aim to provide a balanced approach to early years’ education.
Small World Nursery staff believe every child is unique and special.  Our staff plan a learning programme based on individual needs and interests.  As the early years are critical in a child’s development, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially, we believe in working closely with parents from the first day in nursery and continue to work together to develop key skills.
