Kid's Island and Cocoon Nursery Schools in Dubai were founded by Isabelle Amatoury over 25 years ago. Her philosophy centres on the belief that each child is unique and deserves to be given the opportunity to experience the best possible start to education. Isabelle has more than 34 years of experience in Early Years Education and applies her wealth of knowledge to the daily running of the Schools.

Kid's Island and Cocoon Nursery Schools follow the British Curriculum (EYFS), accepting children from 12 months to 4 years of age catering for children ready for preschool and kindergarten. Class sizes vary with a high adult-child ratio which maximizes individual attention.

Our Schools provide a safe and nurturing environment for our children to build self-awareness, and enrich their social skills.

Through diverse learning opportunities, engaging activities and play within a relaxed and caring atmosphere the children are allowed to reach their potential.

Our team is committed to offering a balanced and holistic approach, where the foundations for positive attitudes are established in a healthy, warm and nurturing learning environment which is the culmination of years of carefully informed resourcing.

Transitioning into a nursery environment is a special time for children and parents. Our team of caring staff are available to support our families through this settling in process that can be emotionally challenging. Parents are children’s first and most profound educators and as such are valued as partners. All parents are made to feel welcome and their input is encouraged through a range of opportunities for collaboration. The symbiotic relationship between the Schools and parents provides a solid foundation for children to excel.

We provide flexibility to parents by offering attendance options of 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week depending on the child’s age group with the ability for early dropoff or late pickup as well. All our classes have a qualified and experienced teacher who is supported by one or two teacher’s assistants depending on the class' age group.

Kid's Island and Cocoon Nursery Schools in Dubai are located in the Jumeirah 3 area of Dubai, in two different locations which are just around the corner of each other.
