UAE schools are finding it more difficult to recruit Math, Science and Technology teachers because of more highly paid positions being offered for specialists in this field.Graduates in technology, science and chemistry are in high demand across the employment sector. Therefore, hiring them has become very difficult for schools. A new report published by the Council of British International schools has announced this shortage, as fewer graduates are applying for these positions and working teachers are quitting the job.In the hope of keeping the teachers, schools are choosing to train their teachers in UK qualifications, and others are giving them open-ended contracts and diversification programs.
