ADAB Iranian Private School presently looks after 435 students, largely from Iran but with a significant percentage also from Afghanistan. The school is based in Al Qusais, Dubai.
The school admits students from 3 years of age onwards. KG classes are taught in Farsi, there is a choice between English and Farsi from Grades 1 to 5. From Grade 6, instruction reverts to Farsi. The school has 30 full time teachers.
ADAB Iranian Private School’s curriculum is based on the national curriculum for Iran.
The school has achieved an overall ‘acceptable’ rating in the KHDA ratings for the past 3 years.
It noted the “outstanding” attitude of the students from the middle school onwards along with an improvement in teaching and good attainment in Maths and Science. The education regulator also noted very strong links with the community (parents in general seem very satisfied with the quality of education being provided). However the KHDA reports teaching itself is currently only Acceptable, and recommends better Arabic provision, more time spent on developing critical reasoning and better monitoring of student progress.
The school offers a number of extra curricular activities from sporting and interest based clubs to educational trips, projects and leadership camps.
