South View School is operated by Interstar Education, a group that also runs Victory Heights Primary School and Delhi Private Schools across the UAE. At the helm is Principal Naomi Williams, who was appointed Principal from Term 3, 2025, having joined SVS as Vice Principal in September 2022. Williams brings substantial UAE school leadership experience, having previously served as Principal at both Repton School Dubai and Repton School Al Barsha, and holds a Masters degree in Psychology from the UK. Parents should note that the 2023–2024 KHDA inspection was conducted under the previous principal, Reuben David Flint, meaning Williams' full impact on school direction is yet to be formally assessed by inspectors.

The senior leadership team is structured across both phases: Laura Stokes serves as Head of Primary, supported by Deputy Head of Primary (Academic) Eisha Patton and Deputy Head of Primary (Curriculum) Scarlett Whistlecroft. Stuart Macpherson leads as Head of Secondary, while Nidhi Dahiya holds the role of Head of Operations and Health & Safety Officer. This depth of middle leadership is a positive structural signal, though the KHDA inspection noted that leadership capacity is still evolving, particularly in the upper phases, and recommended that leaders further develop skills to address barriers associated with the school's demographic intake.

Governance is a relative strength. The Board of Governors is chaired by Mr. Dinesh Kothari and includes academic experts, a parent governor, a teacher representative, and a corporate representative — meeting at least once per term. The 2023–2024 KHDA inspection rated governance Very Good, though inspectors noted that governors' contributions to the school's self-evaluation process remain narrow and could be deepened.

On teaching quality, the inspection found meaningful variation across phases. Teaching in the Foundation Stage was rated Very Good, with inspectors highlighting high-quality early childhood practice as one of the school's headline strengths. Across Primary and Secondary, teaching was rated Good, while Post-16 teaching was rated only Acceptable — an area the school has been directed to address. The school employs 103 teachers supported by 32 teaching assistants, with the largest nationality group being British. The student-teacher ratio stands at 1:12, which is more favourable than the Dubai-wide average of 1:13.6 across 204 schools — a meaningful advantage for classroom attention and support. Parent engagement is formalised through the Friends of Southview parent partnership group, a parent governor seat on the Board, and a KHDA Parent-School contract. The inspection's wellbeing assessment — rated Very Good overall — specifically noted that parents praise the school for the manner in which it supports their children, and that stakeholder involvement is strong. The school's health and safety provision was rated Outstanding across all four phases — Foundation Stage, Primary, Secondary, and Post-16 — one of only a handful of ratings at that level in the entire inspection report, and a genuine differentiator for families prioritising safeguarding.
