Our Own High School runs classes from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary education (CBSE), New Delhi, India.

The curriculum designed and developed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi ensures quality education to all its students and prepares them to take on the mantle of leadership in the knowledge society.

At the end of Grade 10 students can opt to appear either for the school based or the board based All India Secondary School Examination. At the end of Grade 12 students appear for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination. These examinations are conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, India. 

Assessment and Evaluation

The school follows the continuous and comprehensive evaluation system (CCE) for classes up to Grade 10 as advocated by the board. The scheme of CCE is implemented to reduce burden on the student and simultaneously enhance the learning by introducing multiple assessment methods.

Advantages

The All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) is widely recognized by all Indian and International Universities. Students after successful completion of this examination become eligible for admissions to universities and higher education colleges anywhere in the world. Students find placements in professional, technical and general education courses in India and abroad as they do exceedingly well in various entrance examinations and qualifying tests such as SAT, TOEFL, JEE, AIPMT, AIEEE etc.
