The Executive Summary
“The facilities genuinely surprised us - we were not expecting an Olympic pool and a proper football pitch at this price point in Ajman. The school feels modern and the teachers seem enthusiastic, though it is still early days.”

Pastoral Care & Well-being
“The school has a warm feel to it - the staff seem to genuinely know the children by name, which matters a lot when your child is starting somewhere new. The communication from the school has been consistent and reassuring.”

Community Reputation & Standing
As a school that opened in 2024, NGBS has no published GCSE, IGCSE, or A-Level results. Families seeking academic results data will need to wait several years for meaningful evidence.
The school does not mandate UK curriculum experience for teacher hires, and the current staff mix includes a relatively small proportion of UK-trained teachers. This is a relevant consideration for families prioritising a fully British-staffed environment.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
THE “RIGHT FIT”
Families with younger children (FS1 to Year 6) who value modern facilities, British curriculum education, and a competitive fee level in Ajman, and who are comfortable being part of a school that is still building its academic track record.
THE “WRONG FIT”
Families who require a school with published inspection ratings, proven GCSE or A-Level results, a predominantly UK-trained teaching staff, or established KS4 and KS5 provision for older secondary students.
We chose North Gate because of the facilities and the British curriculum - there is nothing else like it at this price in Ajman. We know it is new and we are taking a bet on the school's potential, but so far the experience has been positive and the school feels like it has a clear direction.
