GEMS World Academy – Abu Dhabi relocated to a purpose-built campus on Al Reem Island in September 2022, transforming from a modest primary-only school into a growing all-through institution. The most significant development is the Phase 2 campus expansion opening August 2025, which adds specialist design, technology and science labs, a secondary library, food technology spaces, a robotics suite with CAD/CAM capability, a resistant materials workshop, a fitness suite, arts and gaming spaces, and additional outdoor learning areas.
