Pastoral Care & Well-being
“The school feels like a real community. My daughter's teacher knows her by name, knows what she loves, and reaches out proactively. For a school that has only been open a year, the pastoral care is remarkably well-established.”

Fees & Value for Money
GEMS Founders School DS DWC offers a British National Curriculum education across Foundation Stage and Secondary year groups, with tuition fees for the 2026–27 academic year ranging from AED 36,400 (FS1) to AED 50,400 (Year 10). These fees have been approved by the KHDA and reflect the school's positioning as a quality British curriculum provider within the Dubai South community. The school is relatively new, having been founded in 2024, and is currently expanding its year group offering up to Year 10 for AY 2026–27.
Tuition fees are structured across three terms, with Term 1 carrying a higher proportion of the annual fee (approximately 40%) and Terms 2 and 3 each accounting for around 30%. For the 2025–26 academic year, a 15% discount was applied to fees, and a potential 5% discount may be applicable for AY 2026–27 subject to KHDA approval. Payments are due on or before the 10th working day of August (Term 1), December (Term 2), and April (Term 3).
The school also offers the option to pay annual tuition fees in advance using the FAB GEMS World Credit Card, which provides savings of up to 3% plus 10% back on school expenses. The registration fee is non-refundable, and tuition refunds follow the Ministry of Education's policy upon written request. Students withdrawing must provide a 30-day written notification to the registrar's office.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
THE “RIGHT FIT”
Families living in or relocating to Dubai South, Emaar South, or nearby communities who value a British curriculum with a future-focused STEAM and aviation-logistics identity, and who are entering at primary or early secondary level with a multi-year horizon.
THE “WRONG FIT”
Families needing a fully-formed secondary programme or proven GCSE/A Level results today, or those based in central or northern Dubai for whom the Expo Road commute would be a daily burden.
We chose GFD because we are here for the long term and we wanted our children in a school that is growing with Dubai South. The aviation focus is unique - there is nowhere else in Dubai where your child can genuinely connect the classroom to an airport.
