KHDA Inspection Results (Decoded)
English, Mathematics, and Science remain Acceptable across most phases. Inspectors found that lessons are too often teacher-directed, worksheet-heavy, and focused on content recall rather than skills application. The school must improve differentiation, increase student-directed learning, and make better use of assessment data to drive instructional decisions - particularly in the Middle School.
With 225 students of determination in a school of 1,026, inclusion is a major operational responsibility. The absence of appropriately qualified inclusion leadership, weaknesses in accurate identification, and limited personalised learning plans are significant gaps. The school has been repeatedly urged to appoint qualified SEN leadership and implement formal diagnostic tools.

Fees & Value for Money
Dubai International Private School (DIPS) offers an American curriculum education from KG 1 through Grade 12, with tuition fees for the 2025–2026 academic year ranging from AED 15,051 for KG 1 through Grade 1, up to AED 23,629 for Grade 12. Fees are set in accordance with the KHDA-established School Fee Framework, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance. The school's fee structure reflects its Acceptable DSIB rating and positions it as one of the more affordable American curriculum options in Dubai.
Tuition fees are payable in three termly instalments — 40% at the start of Term 1, 30% at the start of Term 2, and 30% at the start of Term 3. An application fee of AED 525 (inclusive of VAT) is required at the time of application, and a registration deposit of 10% of annual tuition is payable upon acceptance of a place. This deposit is deductible from the total annual fees but is non-refundable. Optional fees covering books, stationery, national agenda activities, skills development, extracurricular activities, school trips, and medical services are charged separately.
The school accepts payment via cash, cheque, credit card, and bank transfer (Emirates NBD). The Collections Office is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. Parents should note that a cheque return administration fee of AED 500 applies for any returned cheques. For company-sponsored students, parents should verify their employer's account status with the Registration Office, as invoice splitting between parent and company is not permitted.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
THE “RIGHT FIT”
DIPS-G is the right fit for Arabic-speaking and Emirati families who want an affordable US curriculum school with strong Arabic and Islamic Education, a warm community atmosphere, and a values-based environment that reflects UAE culture. It is also suitable for families from across the MENA region who prioritise cultural alignment and accessible fees over top-tier academic rankings.
THE “WRONG FIT”
Families whose primary goal is elite university placement in the US or UK, or those who require a high-performing English-medium academic environment with consistently strong KHDA ratings, should consider higher-rated American curriculum alternatives in Dubai. The school is also not ideal for students who need advanced, specialist SEN provision, given the current limitations in inclusion leadership.
The school gave my children a strong foundation in Arabic, Islamic values, and a real sense of who they are. For our family, that matters more than rankings. The fees are fair, the teachers are caring, and my children are happy to go to school every day.
