“The community feel here is unlike any other school we visited. The teachers genuinely know every child by name, and my daughter has thrived in the smaller class sizes. It feels like a proper neighbourhood school, which is rare in Dubai.”
— Year 4 Parent(representative)“The school feels very safe and the staff genuinely care. When my son had a difficult settling-in period, his class teacher and the inclusion team were proactive and supportive from day one. That kind of pastoral attention is hard to find.”
— Year 2 Parent(representative)Teaching, assessment, and curriculum design in Secondary are rated Acceptable. Inspectors found that students in Secondary are often too passive, have insufficient opportunities for extended writing and independent research, and that assessment data is not used as rigorously as in Primary. The school must improve the quality of teaching and ensure assessment analysis drives planning in the secondary phase.
Arabic as an Additional Language attainment in Secondary is the sole Weak rating in the report. New specialist teachers have been appointed and extra time allocated, but impact was not yet evident. Additionally, the wellbeing data collection programme was deemed inadequate for the school's current size, with inspectors recommending a systematic data collection system to enable rapid responses to student emotional and personal needs.
Dove Green Private School offers a UK curriculum (13-year) for students from FS1 through Year 11, with annual tuition fees ranging from AED 42,000 at the Foundation Stage to AED 60,000 for Years 10 and 11. Fees are structured across three terms — Autumn (September–December), Spring (January–March), and Summer (April–June) — with the Autumn term carrying a slightly higher share of the annual fee. This positions the school in the mid-range bracket for British curriculum schools in Dubai, offering accessible pricing relative to many comparable international schools in the emirate.
For new students, a one-time application and assessment fee of AED 500 is charged at the time of application. Upon receiving an acceptance letter, families are required to pay 10% of the total annual tuition fee within 10 days as a deposit, which is deductible from the first term's fees. This deposit is non-refundable unless the family relocates outside Dubai before the academic year begins. Tuition fees are then payable in four instalments: the deposit (10%), followed by three payments of 30% each due on or before 15 August 2025, 15 December 2025, and 15 March 2026.
Families can benefit from a 5% discount on net annual tuition fees by paying in full before the start of the academic year, and a 10% sibling discount is available for families with more than one child enrolled at the school. Optional transport fees range from AED 7,500 to AED 9,000 per year depending on the pickup location, with one-way options also available. Payments can be made by cash, bank transfer, or cheque.
Families with children aged 3-11 seeking a genuine British curriculum school with small class sizes, a warm community feel, strong pastoral care, and mid-premium fees in the Dubai Investment Park area. Also suited to families relocating from the UK who want a familiar educational framework and predominantly UK-trained teachers.
Families requiring a demonstrably high-performing secondary school with a published IGCSE results track record, or those for whom Arabic language development is a priority - Secondary Arabic attainment was rated Weak in the most recent KHDA inspection. Also not suited to families seeking a large, facilities-rich campus today, as the secondary building is newly completed.
We chose Dove Green because it felt like a real school, not a corporate machine. Three years in, my children are happy, challenged, and known as individuals. For the price, I genuinely don't think you can do better in this part of Dubai.
