Al Thuraya Private School

Al-Thuraya Private School in Dubai was established in 1980 under the name al-Zahra kindergarten in Port Said Street. The school moved to the Al Garhoud area in 1983 and became the name of Khalid bin Walid School. In 1986, the school moved to its current headquarters in Garhoud. In 2005, His Excellency Mohammed Omar Bin Haider bought the school and changed its name to become the Thuraya Private School in Dubai. 

In the 1993-1994 academic year a private first batch graduates and graduates of public high scientific section, and the first batch graduates and graduates of secondary General Literary Section in the academic year 2000-2001. Since its inception and to this day, the school became one of the oldest private schools in the emirate of Dubai, where the educationally privileged and qualitative progress under the supervision of a group of teachers and administrators who enjoy a high degree of specialization and training. And Thuraya Private School in Dubai has provided a boost of 20 graduates and alumni, where most of them exist in the labor market and in higher positions.
