Toddlers International Nursery

Health and safety are treated as a central priority at Toddlers International Nursery. Staff are certified in Paediatric First Aid, a registered nurse is present on site, and a doctor visits regularly to carry out general health and safety checks. Hygiene practices include daily cleaning and sanitising of classrooms, common areas and toys, hand sanitiser stations throughout the nursery, and the use of disposable gloves, masks and mat liners by staff during nappy changing or toileting support. Arrival and dismissal procedures are strictly managed for children's safety: the main gate is locked shortly after the start of the day, and anyone other than a parent collecting a child must provide prior written permission and valid identification. Fire drills are conducted every term, and the premises include smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and a no-smoking policy. Nursery buses are fitted with seatbelts, fire extinguishers and air conditioning, and are always accompanied by a trained female bus assistant. A settling-in period, typically lasting two to three weeks, supports children joining the nursery for the first time or transitioning between classrooms. Ongoing communication with families is maintained through a Parent Handbook, weekly class updates, monthly newsletters, termly reports, Parent-Teacher Interviews, orientation meetings and a 'Parents as Partners' programme that invites families to take part in classroom activities and school events.
