Little Lambs Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, the first framework in England to bridge preschool and formal schooling. Planning is guided by four core EYFS principles: recognising every child as unique, building positive relationships, creating enabling environments, and understanding that children learn and develop at different rates. The seven EYFS areas of learning are all covered, including Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, and Expressive Arts and Design. Literacy is supported through jolly phonics and the Oxford Reading Tree levelled reading scheme, while mathematics is woven into everyday play through counting, puzzles, construction and role play. In addition to the standard EYFS areas, the nursery incorporates Social Studies to build civic awareness and an Information Technology/STEM lab available from the toddler stage, giving children early exposure to tablets, programmable toys, engineering kits and simple science experiments. This blended approach forms the basis of what the nursery calls its unique learning programme.
الفئة العمرية: 45 days to 5 years
Little Lambs Nursery welcomes children from 45 days to 5 years old, with structured stages moving from Infants through Nursery and Foundation Stage classes up to the Smart Juniors group for children preparing for formal school entry. Alongside the core EYFS classes, the nursery runs a number of specialist support programmes. These include bladder and bowel (potty) training for children showing readiness signs between roughly 16 and 24 months, a Child Anxiety Multi-day Programme (CAMP) to help toddlers manage separation anxiety, and a Picky Eating Programme (PEP) that works with families to broaden a child's diet through positive reinforcement. Older children can also access the Smart Juniorz Programme, a one-to-one teaching option available after 3.30pm or during holiday camps, focused on pre-reading, pre-writing and early mathematics skills. Further enrichment is offered through the Academic Enrichment Programme, which includes ballet, football, zumba, gymnastics, karate, arts and craft and sensory play, plus dedicated Communication & Language and Social Studies Education programmes and an IT/STEM programme for children above two years.
Located in a villa setting on 33rd Street in Mankhool, Bur Dubai, near Mankhool Park and the ADCB metro station, Little Lambs Nursery provides both indoor and outdoor learning spaces designed to be healthy, age-appropriate and stimulating for young children. The nursery highlights its garden and road track area, where children can run, jump, ride tricycles, throw and catch balls, and take part in gross motor activities such as watering plants. Indoors, the nursery has a dedicated IT/STEM lab available from the toddler years, equipped with tablets, electronic toys, computers and off-screen STEM resources such as building blocks, magnetic tiles and puzzles. Classrooms are set up to support the full range of EYFS areas of learning, from role play and storytelling corners to construction and sensory play areas. The nursery operates Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.00pm, giving working families a full-day setting close to home or the metro in the Mankhool area of Dubai.

Little Lambs Nursery places emphasis on supporting children through key developmental milestones, including toilet training, which the nursery approaches as a gradual, consistency-based process typically beginning between 16 and 24 months. Parents are guided on recognising signs of readiness and encouraged to avoid pressure or punishment during this stage. Separation anxiety is addressed through the nursery's Child Anxiety Multi-day Programme (CAMP), a graduated approach designed to help children aged roughly 18 months to 3 years settle in confidently, recognising this as a normal part of forming secure attachments. A Picky Eating Programme (PEP) also supports families dealing with fussy eating, working with class teachers to gradually widen the foods a child will accept through positive reinforcement. Throughout the nursery day, Personal, Social and Emotional Development is treated as a priority, with staff supporting children to build self-regulation, manage their emotions, and form healthy relationships with peers and teachers.
Little Lambs Nursery is open Monday to Friday from 7.00am to 6.00pm, offering full-day care alongside its structured EYFS learning programme. Within the day, children take part in activities spanning all seven EYFS areas of learning, from storytelling, role play and phonics sessions to counting games, construction play, and outdoor time in the garden and road track area for running, climbing and ball games. For children needing extra one-to-one support, the Smart Juniorz Programme is offered after 3.30pm on a regular basis or during nursery camp breaks, focusing on pre-reading, pre-writing and early mathematics in a low-distraction setting.
Parents interested in enrolling can contact Little Lambs Nursery directly by phone, WhatsApp or email, or visit the Mankhool branch in person to see the facilities and meet the team. The nursery, regulated by the KHDA, welcomes children from 45 days to 5 years and invites prospective families to find out more about its daily routines, curriculum and specialist programmes during a visit.
