Curriculum & Approach
Kids Academy follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a play-based curriculum designed to support every area of a young child's development, from communication and physical skills to personal, social and emotional growth. This is blended with the UAE's Early Childhood Quality Frameworks so that children benefit from an internationally recognised approach alongside local context and values. The nursery states that its practices align with UAE Vision 2030, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 – Quality Education), ADEK Early Years Standards, and the KHDA's Early Childhood Quality Framework, known as The Dubai Child. Learning is delivered through exploration, creativity, investigation and collaboration, with children encouraged to choose activities, problem-solve and take ownership of their own learning. Alongside academic foundations such as early literacy and numeracy, the curriculum places strong emphasis on soft skills, including kindness, inclusion, tolerance and respect, to support positive behaviour and rewarding social interactions between children.
Ages & Programs
Age range: 45 days to 4 years
Children at Kids Academy are grouped by age to ensure learning is developmentally appropriate. Babies from 45 days to 1 year enjoy small world play, early maths activities and structured mealtimes, while Toddlers aged 1 to 2 years build skills through outdoor play, sensory exploration and circle time songs. Early Learners aged 2 to 3 years take part in small world play, maths activities and groupwork, developing independence through tidying up and shared tasks. In the Reception stage for children aged 3 to 4 years, the focus shifts towards open-ended play, phonics, reading, mark-making and group-based critical thinking activities that prepare children for the next stage of their education. Families can choose from flexible half-day, extended-day and full-day programmes, with early starts from 7:00am and late finishes until 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, to suit different working patterns. Children aged 2 years and above can also take part in extra-curricular activities such as football, basketball, gymnastics, dance and martial arts through vetted partners, with a nursery team member always on hand to support care routines.

Meal plans include three freshly prepared, individually wrapped meals a day, introducing children to healthy eating habits from an early age. For children with developmental delays, Kids Academy's partnership with the Applied & Behavioral Training Institute (ABTI) provides access to early intervention services. Operational oversight, including licensing and compliance, health and safety, and child protection and safeguarding, sits with the nursery's Head of Operations, reflecting a structured approach to keeping children safe and well cared for throughout their time at the nursery.
