Jumeirah International Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, enriched with the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) for older children preparing for primary school. This is further enhanced with principles drawn from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the Curiosity Approach, Positive Education and the Montessori Methodology, giving children a broad and balanced range of learning experiences. The Reggio Emilia influenced approach treats children as capable, competent learners who construct knowledge through interaction with their environment and peers, with documentation such as portfolios and art displays used to capture each child's learning journey. Children at Jumeirah International Nursery are grouped into age-based classes that progress from the earliest weeks of life through to the start of primary school. The Little Learners (0 to 1.2 years) enjoy their own outdoor garden and sensory play areas, with dedicated changing and sleeping rooms and a staff ratio maintained at 1:3. As children move into the Curious Beginners class (1.3 to 2 years), child-initiated play, language development and fine motor skills come into focus, alongside support for potty training and growing independence. The Inquisitive Adventurers (2.1 to 3 years) and Confident Explorers (3.1 to 4 years, FS1) build on this through role-play, free-flow outdoor play, music and creative activities designed to nurture a love of learning. Older children join the Active Discoverers class (4.1 to 5 years, FS2), where personalised lessons cover Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts & Design and Sports. The Creative Achievers class (5.1 to 6 years, Year 1) follows the International Preschool Curriculum to prepare children with the skills and knowledge needed for primary school.

Daily Schedule
The nursery day at Jumeirah International Nursery is structured around three main sessions: an Early Class from 7:00am to 8:00am, a Morning Programme from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and an Afternoon Programme from 1:00pm to 6:00pm.
