Green Grass Nursery's curriculum is built around what it calls a bilingual inquiry approach, combining immersive Arabic and English language exposure with inquiry-based learning and cultural connection. The aim is to help children become confident bilingual communicators while developing problem-solving skills and a strong sense of identity. This approach sits on a foundation of the British EYFS framework, which guides age-appropriate learning goals and developmental milestones, while drawing inspiration from Reggio Emilia's child-led, project-based philosophy and forest school principles that value outdoor, nature-based exploration. Together these influences shape a curriculum that is hands-on, playful and responsive to each child's interests. Arabic is embedded from the earliest years rather than introduced later, reflecting the nursery's founding aim to be one of the first fully bilingual Arabic-English nurseries in Dubai. Learning takes place both indoors and in outdoor classrooms, gardens, mud kitchens and workshop spaces, reinforcing the nursery's belief that meaningful learning happens well beyond the four walls of a traditional classroom.
