At First Path Montessori, learning is guided by a blended curriculum that combines Montessori education, the British EYFS framework and inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach. The EYFS provides the structured foundation, guiding children's progress across its seven key areas of learning through a balance of child-led play and adult-guided activity, with regular observation and assessment to ensure school readiness. Montessori principles sit at the heart of daily practice, with hands-on materials, mixed-age peer learning and trained Montessori guides who act as facilitators rather than instructors, helping children build independence, concentration and a genuine love of learning within a calm, prepared environment. Reggio Emilia inspiration adds a further dimension through project-based exploration, open-ended materials and provocations that spark imagination, alongside documentation of learning through photos, journals and displays. Together, these three approaches create a holistic programme supporting academic readiness, emotional well-being, cultural awareness and creativity, adapting to each child's needs from the Pines Room through to the Oaks Classroom.
Age range: 45 days to 6 years
First Path Montessori organises children into five age-specific rooms, each designed to match the developmental stage of the children within it. The Pines Room (45 days to 1 year) offers a gentle, sensory-rich space for infants, with soft flooring and Key Person bonding to support physical and cognitive development. The Willows Room (1 to 2 years) and Maples Room (2 to 3 years) focus on emerging independence, practical life skills and early communication through prepared Montessori activities. The Spruce Room (3 to 4 years) builds foundations for literacy, numeracy and social skills through hands-on Montessori materials alongside music, movement, STEM, Arabic and French. The Oaks Room (4 to 6 years) prepares children for a successful transition to school through a child-led, discovery-based approach to phonics, maths, science and cultural studies. Across all rooms, children also take part in enrichment such as language lessons, yoga, music and creative arts, plus holiday camps and special programmes throughout the year.
First Path Montessori's Business Bay campus is a secure, purpose-built facility with age-specific classrooms, soft flooring for crawlers and a dedicated drop-off bay for smooth daily transitions. Natural light, cosy corners and sensory-rich materials create a warm interior where children feel at home from the moment they arrive. Outdoors, children enjoy a private playground and jungle gym set within the heart of the city, giving them space to climb, explore and connect with nature safely. A dedicated children's kitchen encourages independence and healthy habits through food preparation activities, while nutritious meals and snacks are delivered daily by Yamanote with options tailored to dietary needs. For added convenience, the nursery offers a bus service with RTA-certified drivers, seat belts on every bus and a caring female attendant on board, covering pick-up and drop-off for children aged 2 and above across Business Bay, Downtown and DIFC.

Safety and wellbeing underpin daily life at First Path Montessori, with secured entry and check-in/out procedures, age-appropriate safety features in every classroom, and daily cleaning and sanitisation protocols. Staff are trained in paediatric first aid and emergency response, and the nursery carries out regular safety drills alongside continuous supervision. Parents can follow their child's progress through the Kinderpedia app, keeping home and nursery closely connected. Meals are chef-prepared and can cater to dietary preferences including vegan, gluten-free and allergy-sensitive requirements, while children also take part in food preparation activities in the dedicated children's kitchen. Each child is supported by a Key Person, particularly in the infant Pines Room, helping to build emotional security and support a gentle settling-in process. Families are regularly invited to workshops, stay-and-play sessions and special events, strengthening the connection between home and nursery.
First Path Montessori operates Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with an optional early start from 7:30am for busy families. After the main learning day, children enjoy afternoon enrichment such as storytelling circles, expressive arts, mindfulness sessions and nature-based play, offering a calm mix of rest and creativity. Throughout the week, children take part in enrichment sessions including Arabic and French language lessons, music and movement, STEM explorations and physical development activities, alongside regular events, culture days and family workshops that add variety to the routine.
