Curriculum & Approach
Dazzle Kids Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, structured around the seven areas of learning. The three prime areas, Communication and Language, Physical Development, and Personal, Social and Emotional Development, are built through storytelling, movement games, dance, cooperative play and classroom routines designed to build confidence and self-awareness. The four specific areas extend this foundation: Literacy is introduced through Jolly Phonics, storytime and early writing; Mathematics through sorting, pattern recognition and counting; Understanding the World through science experiments, nature walks and basic technology; and Expressive Arts and Design through painting, music, dance and pretend play. Teaching is theme-based and blends child-led exploration with adult-guided activities, reflecting the nursery's belief that children learn best when curiosity is nurtured through active, hands-on experiences. This mission-driven approach aims to ensure every child receives individual attention as they progress through the EYFS stages.
Ages & Programs
Age range: 2 to 6 years
Dazzle Kids Nursery organises children into three age-appropriate stages that build progressively on one another. The Toddlers programme, for children aged 2 to 3 years, focuses on emotional comfort, social bonding and early exploration as children settle into nursery life. Foundation Stage 1 (FS1), for children aged 3 to 4 years, introduces foundational academic and social skills through structured play, developing communication, problem-solving and teamwork. Foundation Stage 2 (FS2), for children aged 4 to 5 years, builds on this with increased structure, strengthening literacy, numeracy and critical thinking while preparing children for formal schooling. Across all stages, the nursery emphasises five key skills, including social and emotional development, creativity and curiosity, and decision-making, so that children move on to full-time school as confident, independent learners.
