Cherry Tree Nursery follows the British Curriculum, delivered through the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Learning is planned around a balance of adult-led and child-initiated activities, with an emphasis on hands-on, play-based exploration that supports each child's holistic development. Staff use ongoing planning and assessment strategies to track a child's progress and extend their learning, sharing developmental records with parents on a termly basis. The nursery's educators hold recognised early years qualifications, including CACHE Level 2, Level 3 and Level 5 certifications as required by the KHDA, alongside multicultural experience gained across the UAE. Regular field trips connected to each term's topic form part of the curriculum, giving children the chance to learn beyond the nursery classroom and develop early critical thinking skills. Extracurricular activities are also woven into the programme to build essential skills and support key developmental milestones.
الفئة العمرية: 45 days to 6 years
Cherry Tree Nursery organises children into age-appropriate rooms as they progress through the early years. Babies, from 45 days old until they begin walking, are cared for in a home-like setting with sensory toys and close attention from experienced staff, alongside open communication with parents. The Toddler room, known as the Busy Bees, caters for children from one to two years old, focusing on emerging vocabulary, coordination and self-expression through resources such as role-play areas, cosy reading corners and activity table-top boxes. Developmental progress in this room is recorded each term in line with the EYFS framework. The Preschool room, the Blue Birds, supports children aged two to three years as they develop independence and learn through imitation, using role play and group activities. The nursery continues to offer classes up to Foundation Stage 2, supporting the transition into primary school reception classes.
The nursery is designed as a 'mini-home', an environment intended to feel safe, familiar and nurturing for young children. Facilities include large indoor play areas, planned with the UAE climate in mind, giving children space for creativity, curiosity and regular physical exercise regardless of the weather outside. Small supervised groups are a feature of the setting, allowing staff to get to know each child's routines, comforts and interests, particularly during settling-in sessions. Regular field trips connected to the term's topic take learning beyond the nursery walls and into the wider community. As a KHDA-regulated nursery in Dubai South, Dubai, Cherry Tree Nursery brings together qualified, experienced educators from a range of cultural backgrounds, reflecting the multicultural mix of the children in its care.

Settling-in sessions are used to understand each child's home routine, comfort preferences, favourite stories or activities, and any special comforters, helping to ease the transition into nursery life. Small supervised groups allow staff to maintain close, consistent relationships with the children in their care. Daily communication with parents is a core part of the nursery's approach, with notes and pictures shared each day so families stay informed about their child's time at nursery. Staff hold recognised early years qualifications, including CACHE Level 2, 3 and 5 certifications as specified by the KHDA. The nursery operates under KHDA regulation, and its multicultural staff team brings varied experience of early childhood care and education across the UAE.
Cherry Tree Nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30am to 6:00pm, with nursery packages available on a 3-day or 5-day basis and daycare offered on an hourly or daily basis, subject to terms and conditions. Term-time is supplemented by holiday camps, including a Summer Camp in July and August, a Winter Camp in December, and a Spring Camp in March and April, each built around weekly themes such as theatre, craft, science and story weeks.
Families interested in Cherry Tree Nursery can book a tour of the facility through the nursery's website or by getting in touch directly.
