Curriculum & Approach
Bright Horizon Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a UK framework covering learning, development and care for children from birth to four years old. Bright Horizon Nursery operates under a series of published policies covering health and medication, food and nutrition, safety and security, sick children, head lice, biting incidents, pick-up procedures and child withdrawal, giving parents clear guidance on day-to-day care routines. Admission is offered on a fair, non-discriminatory and transparent basis in line with UAE Federal Decree Laws on child rights and the rights of persons with disabilities, and children are not denied a place due to nationality, ability or religion, subject to space being available. Children with additional learning needs are referred to the Early Education Director or Nursery Principal to assess how the nursery can best accommodate them. Medical records for each child are kept securely and confidentially, with immunisation records required within the first year of enrolment. The nursery maintains a head lice policy that includes regular checks by staff, discreet communication with affected classrooms, and a requirement that children return only once free of lice and nits.
