Bright Horizon Nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), a UK framework covering learning, development and care for children from birth to four years old. The curriculum is built around seven areas of learning, split into prime areas (Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Communication and Language, Physical Development) and specific areas (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design). Teaching is delivered through play-based activities and hands-on experiences, with the programme tailored to the interests and developmental stage of each child, aiming to build curiosity, confidence and resilience alongside academic foundations. Alongside EYFS, the nursery offers dedicated Arabic and Islamic education lessons and Quran recitation, giving children the opportunity to develop Arabic language skills, explore Islamic teachings and connect with their cultural and spiritual heritage as part of their everyday learning.
Age range: N0 to N4, with additional Special Needs (SN) provision
Bright Horizon Nursery groups children into age-appropriate classes from N0 through to N4, alongside a dedicated SN (Special Needs) provision for children with additional learning needs who can be appropriately supported. Both full-time and part-time attendance options are offered, subject to availability, giving families flexibility in how their child attends. Each class is designed around the child's stage of development, with well-resourced classrooms supporting the EYFS prime and specific areas of learning alongside Arabic, Islamic education and Quran recitation.
