Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistani School follows the National Curriculum of Pakistan (NCP) from Kindergarten through Grade 12, making it one of only two Pakistani curriculum schools among Abu Dhabi's 233 private schools. The school holds affiliation with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), which governs secondary examinations and awards the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) at Grades 9–10 and the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) at Grades 11–12. Instruction is delivered in English and Urdu, with Arabic taught as an additional language in compliance with ADEK requirements. The school's most compelling academic evidence comes from its FBISE board examination results. In the 2023 SSC-II examinations, 85% of students surpassed expected progress by more than one grade, and top scorer Hafsa Bibi achieved 1,044 marks in the science group — ranking first among Pakistan embassy and Dubai consulate schools across the UAE. These are genuinely strong outcomes within the Pakistani curriculum cohort and reflect a school capable of producing high-performing graduates at the secondary level. The HSSC results similarly show students placing first in General Science and Commerce groups among UAE-based Pakistani schools, a consistent pattern of board-level distinction.
Performance on international benchmarking assessments tells a more nuanced story. In PISA 2022, the school achieved scores of Mathematics 376.7, Science 388.9, and Reading 383.0, meeting its internal targets in Reading and Science but falling below PISA international averages in all three domains. TIMSS 2023 results show Grade 4 Science at 451.05 — meeting its target — while Grade 8 Mathematics at 426.57 and Grade 8 Science at 423.44 both fell short of targets and below international averages. The school dedicates one lesson per week to TIMSS preparation for Grades 4 and 8, and runs pull-out sessions for students approaching PISA and PIRLS benchmarks, demonstrating structured intent even where outcomes remain below global norms.
The 2024–2025 ADEK Irtiqaa inspection rated the school Acceptable — a rating it has held since at least 2021, placing it among the 52 Abu Dhabi private schools currently rated Acceptable, and one of only two Pakistani curriculum schools in the city, both of which share this rating. Inspectors found student achievement Good in KG and Cycle 3 (senior phase) for English and Science, but Acceptable across Cycles 1 and 2 in most core subjects. Teaching for effective learning was rated Good only in KG, remaining Acceptable across all other phases. Critically, Governance and Management, staffing, facilities and resources were all rated Weak — the lowest possible grade — with inspectors noting that the school building has fallen into disrepair, insufficient qualified teachers have been recruited, and student attendance remains persistently low.
