Hartland International School occupies a purpose-built campus in Sobha Hartland, Nad Al Sheba, within Mohammed Bin Rashid City — a master-planned residential community close to Business Bay and Downtown Dubai. Opened in 2015, the school was designed from the ground up as an educational facility rather than adapted from existing structures, and the learning environment reflects that intent: spaces are described by KHDA inspectors as well-resourced, bright, and engaging. KHDA rated management, staffing, facilities and resources as Very Good in the 2023–24 inspection, consistent with the school's overall performance trajectory.

The performing arts provision is a genuine standout. The 650-seat state-of-the-art theatre is one of the largest dedicated school performance venues in Dubai, supporting productions from Foundation Stage through Sixth Form. Alongside it sits a professional recording studio, a music technology room, and a suite of individual music practice rooms — a depth of provision that goes well beyond what most British curriculum schools in the city offer at any fee level. A dedicated Creative Arts room serves Foundation Stage students exclusively, ensuring specialist provision begins from age three.

Aquatic facilities are strong. The school operates a 25-metre temperature-controlled swimming pool for Year 1 and above, complemented by a separate training pool for Foundation Stage — a thoughtful separation that reflects genuine investment in age-appropriate provision. Current sports facilities also include a multi-purpose gym room and dance studio. However, parents should note that broader outdoor and indoor sports infrastructure is still developing: a major 2025 expansion is underway, planned to add a full-size rooftop football pitch, an indoor sports hall, a shaded sports hall, covered padel ball zones, and a shaded sports pitch. Until complete, the sports offering is more limited than one might expect at this fee level.

Academic specialist spaces include a design technology suite housing a 3D design laboratory, food technology room, and textiles room, plus dedicated libraries in both Primary and Secondary. A purpose-built Sixth Form Common Room signals investment in the post-16 experience. On the fee-to-facility question, Hartland's fees range from AED 48,781 to AED 92,803 — placing upper-year students well above the British curriculum median of AED 49,630 across Dubai's 105 British schools. At fees approaching AED 93,000, parents should reasonably expect a comprehensive, fully operational sports campus alongside the performing arts excellence already in evidence. The 2025 expansion, once complete, will address this gap meaningfully. For now, the theatre, dual pools, and specialist arts infrastructure represent genuine premium-tier provision; the sports facilities are catching up.
