SPEA Inspection Results (Decoded)
English is rated only Acceptable in Phases 2, 3 and 4, with external MAP data indicating weak attainment. Students in the upper school do not yet engage deeply enough with literature or produce written work of sufficient quality. This is the school's most urgent academic priority.
SPEA identified the identification and support for gifted and talented students as a key area for improvement. High-attaining students in Arabic, Social Studies and other subjects do not always make the progress they could because work lacks sufficient challenge.

The Final Verdict: Who Is This School For?
الاختيار المناسب
Families seeking an affordable, values-rooted American curriculum school in Sharjah with strong early years provision, a warm Islamic ethos, multicultural diversity across 52+ nationalities, and accessible fees from AED 22,850. Particularly well-suited to families with children in Pre-KG through Grade 5, and those with multiple children who can benefit from sibling discounts.
الاختيار غير المناسب
Families whose primary concern is English language excellence and top-percentile academic outcomes at secondary level, or those with highly gifted children who require advanced differentiation and consistent stretch - ASCS Maliha is working on these areas but has not yet reached Very Good in either dimension.
We chose ASCS Maliha for the values and the community. Three years in, I can say it has been the right decision for our family. The school is transparent, the fees are fair, and my children are happy. That matters more than any ranking.
