The Little Dreamers Nursery

As a British nursery in Dubai, The Little Dreamers Nursery follows the UK Statutory Framework for the EYFS, using 'Development Matters in the Early Years Foundation Stage' as the core set of learning objectives. This guidance underpins planning across the seven areas of learning and development and supports each child in meeting typical age-related expectations. The curriculum is enriched through a variety of planned activities, including music and movement, messy and sensory play, an investigation station, outdoor and indoor gross motor play, water and sand exploration, and a bike and trike track. Enrichment activities are planned and delivered by class teachers and are designed to develop independence, communication, problem-solving and creative thinking. The physical environment is treated as 'the third teacher', with classrooms organised into areas such as role play, story corner, mark-making, small world, construction and creative stations, kept fresh and engaging to sustain children's interest. English is the language of instruction, with specialist Arabic and French lessons also offered, and additional support available for children who need extra help with spoken language through a dedicated speaking and listening programme in FS1.
