Practical life activities such as pouring, buttoning and sweeping build independence, focus and coordination, while language and mathematics materials introduce sounds, letters, numbers and quantities through concrete, self-correcting Montessori equipment. Sensorial materials sharpen observation and prepare children for later academic learning, and cultural studies covering geography, science, history, art and music foster curiosity about the wider world. The nursery treats the classroom itself as a 'third teacher', with prepared environments designed to offer freedom within limits, ordered and accessible materials, and calm, child-centred spaces where every child can take ownership of their own learning. Sea Horse and Mini Mermaids support children aged 12 to 24 months as they begin exploring their surroundings with growing curiosity, gross motor skills and early language. Sea Shell and Starfish are designed for toddlers aged 24 to 36 months, building emerging independence, refined motor skills and early social interaction through expanded language and sensory activities. Octopus supports children aged roughly 36 to 71 months as they develop concentration, confidence and foundational language, maths and practical life skills, while Confident Captains caters for children aged 48 to 60 months with hands-on exploration that nurtures independence, coordination and early academic skills. All classes run from 7:15am to 6:00pm, with class sizes kept small — typically around 6 to 10 children per group — to support individual attention within the prepared Montessori environment.
