Revere Montessori Early Childhood Center

Revere Montessori follows the Montessori method as developed by Dr Maria Montessori, delivered by guides holding the internationally recognised Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) diploma. Children work within a carefully prepared environment using scientifically designed materials chosen to match their developmental stage and interests, moving and working at their own pace rather than following a fixed, teacher-led timetable. The approach treats movement, independence and self-directed activity as central to learning rather than separate from it. Guides observe each child closely, curate the environment and deliver individually tailored presentations, while children choose their own work and build focus, problem-solving skills and confidence over time. Across the three years of the Children's House programme, the curriculum builds progressively towards literacy, mathematics and broader academic skills, alongside social, emotional and practical life skills. The nursery states that children who remain with them through to age six typically progress in reading and mathematics ahead of children in more traditional programmes by the time they reach Year 1.
