Jumeirah International Nursery follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, complemented by the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC) for children moving towards Year 1. This combination gives children a structured academic foundation while remaining rooted in play-based, child-led learning. The curriculum is further enriched with principles from the Reggio Emilia philosophy, the Curiosity Approach, Positive Education, and the Montessori Methodology. Reggio-inspired practice treats children as capable, curious learners and uses documentation such as portfolios and art displays to capture each child's progress, while the Curiosity Approach favours natural, open-ended resources over closed-ended toys to spark exploration. Positive Education is embedded throughout the day through practices such as morning mindfulness exercises, emotional check-ins and gratitude routines, supporting children's social-emotional development alongside academic learning. Montessori principles are woven into the EYFS programme to build independence, self-confidence and problem-solving skills. Progress is tracked through differentiated learning plans, with regular written assessments measured against EYFS Early Learning Goals and IPC principles, plus a full progress check with parent consultation at age two.

Children are grouped into age-based classes that reflect key stages of early development. Little Learners (0 to 1.2 years) is the baby room, where crawling, early walking and self-feeding are encouraged, supported by dedicated changing and sleeping rooms and a baby staff ratio maintained at 1:3. Curious Beginners (1.3 to 2 years) introduces child-initiated play with a focus on language and fine motor skills, alongside potty training support. Inquisitive Adventurers (2.1 to 3 years) builds independence and a love of learning through role-play, assemblies, music and puppet shows, while Confident Explorers (3.1 to 4 years, FS1) extends free-flow outdoor play, messy play, cooking and creative crafts. Active Discoverers (4.1 to 5 years, FS2) delivers personalised lessons in Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts & Design and Sport, preparing children for the final Creative Achievers class (5.1 to 6 years, Year 1), which follows the International Preschool Curriculum to ready children for Primary School.

Babies in the Little Learners room have daily access to their own outdoor garden area and sensory playground, with natural objects and heuristic play materials used to encourage active exploration from an early age. Positive Education underpins the nursery's approach to emotional wellbeing, with daily practices such as emotional check-ins, empathy-building storytelling and mindfulness exercises helping children build resilience, confidence and a strong sense of self-worth from an early age. As children approach transition to primary school, the nursery supports pre-writing, literacy and numeracy skills through play, alongside transition days that help children become familiar with new school environments, routines and expectations ahead of joining Year 1 or a partner primary school.

The nursery day is structured around three main blocks: an Early Class from 7:00am to 8:00am, a Morning Programme from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and an Afternoon Programme from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, giving families flexibility around drop-off and collection times. The academic year is divided into three terms, an Autumn Term running September to December, a Spring Term from January to March, and a Summer Term from April to July, with defined winter, spring and summer breaks built into the annual calendar.

Jumeirah International Nursery does not publish a fixed tuition fee list, as costs vary according to a child's age, chosen attendance days and session timings; the Admissions Team prepares personalised fee information for each family. Published one-off and annual charges include an Application Fee and an Annual Administration Fee, both inclusive of 5% VAT. Sibling discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled, alongside corporate offers for Emirates Platinum and Esaad cardholders on KHDA-approved tuition fees.

Prospective families are invited to book a personalised nursery tour and submit an enquiry with their child's details so the Admissions Team can advise on suitable class placement and fee information. Term fees are payable in advance, with due dates set for 1st August (Autumn Term), 1st December (Spring Term), 15th March (Summer Term) and 1st May for re-enrolment; yearly and monthly payment options are also available. Children are placed into age-based classes from Little Learners through to Creative Achievers according to their date of birth. Sibling discounts apply from a second child onwards, and families holding an Emirates Platinum or Esaad card may be eligible for additional discounts on tuition fees, details of which are provided directly by the nursery admissions team. As part of the wider Fortes Education Group, children graduating from Jumeirah International Nursery receive priority placement and an exclusive discount when moving on to sister schools Sunmarke School and Regent International School, alongside transition days designed to ease the move into primary education.
