Friendly ECC offers two distinct pathways for families to choose from: a Bilingual group and an International group, both designed to build strong foundations in language, communication and school readiness. In the Bilingual group, the first part of the day is conducted entirely in English, with the second part of the day delivered in Russian, allowing children to build fluency and confidence in both languages. The International group focuses on immersive English interaction throughout the day, led by native-speaking educators. By the time of graduation, children in this stream are expected to express themselves freely in English and converse confidently on a wide range of everyday topics. Across both groups, the curriculum builds towards Foundation Stage 2 (FS2) outcomes, with children expected to read, write and express their thoughts in English, and engage in conversation and play. School preparation is a collaborative process involving teachers, the centre's psychologist and parents, ensuring children are equipped with the skills needed for Grade 1. The approach places strong emphasis on research-based activities, aesthetic and cognitive engagement, and building each child's self-esteem and self-belief.
الفئة العمرية: 18 months to FS2 (approximately 5 years)
Friendly ECC accepts children from 18 months old, provided they can walk confidently, through to Foundation Stage 2 (FS2), preparing them for entry into Grade 1. Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 to 15 children per group, supported by qualified bilingual teachers holding CACHE Level 3 certification and, in some classes, native English-speaking educators. Families can choose between the Bilingual group, which combines English and Russian instruction across the day, and the International group, which is delivered in English throughout. Both pathways include a structured daily routine of activities, meals, outdoor play and nap time, with extracurricular activities included within the centre rather than requiring separate arrangements.
The Friendly ECC campus in Al Safa 2 spans 1500 square metres, purpose-designed for learning, play and relaxation. The centre includes its own garden with a water splash zone, sandpit, slides, swings, a climbing wall, a planting garden, a pets house and monkey bars, giving children ample space for outdoor exploration. Indoors, children nap on their own comfortable beds each day, with individual sets of bed linen provided. A relaxation area is also available for parents visiting the centre. Safety measures include electronic pass entry, 24/7 security, CCTV coverage with a week's recording retention, air disinfection and filtration systems, and a team trained in First Aid and Fire Safety. The centre describes its interiors as creating a warm, home-like atmosphere from the moment of arrival, with a focus on comfort, coziness and a sense of security for children and families alike.

Health and safety are treated as a core priority at Friendly ECC. The centre maintains a full-day, UAE-attested nurse on site, alongside a clinical psychologist who supports children's settling-in and transition periods and is available to advise parents and staff. Required teacher-to-student ratios (1:4, 1:5 and 1:8, depending on age group) are maintained in line with KHDA guidance. Four meals are provided daily, freshly prepared in a certified on-site kitchen using baking, boiling or steaming methods rather than frying. Dietary needs and allergies are catered for individually, and children are guided in table manners and etiquette from a young age, with most eating independently using forks and child-safe knives by around age two. Nap time takes place daily from 1pm to 3pm, with each child assigned their own bed and three sets of individual bed linen. The staff team is multinational, fluent in languages including English, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Italian, French, Spanish and Turkish, and includes qualified bilingual teachers with pedagogical backgrounds and CACHE Level 3 certification.
A typical day at Friendly ECC runs from 8am to 6pm and begins with a welcome for children followed by morning exercise and breakfast. The morning continues with a speech development activity and arts and craft or sculpting sessions, followed by a snack and outdoor play in the centre's garden. Lunch is served around midday, after which children have nap time on their own beds. The afternoon includes a music class, an afternoon snack, and a calligraphy or logic class, before the day winds down with free play until collection time.
Enrolment at Friendly ECC follows a straightforward four-step process: an initial communication with parents, a tour of the centre, submission of the required documents, and finally signing the contract.
