Chubby Cheeks follows the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, a framework established by the British Government that covers seven areas of learning: Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Communication and Language; Literacy; Mathematics; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development; and Creative Development. Best practices from the Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies are woven into everyday delivery, reflecting the belief that every child is different and learns in their own way. Literacy is supported through storytelling, a wide range of books and the Jolly Phonics programme, helping children build early reading skills through songs and rhymes. Mathematical understanding is developed through structured play involving numbers, shapes, sorting and measurement, while Knowledge and Understanding of the World encourages children to explore, question and investigate. Physical development is nurtured through activities that build both gross motor skills, such as climbing, running and riding tricycles, and fine motor skills using play dough, crayons, beads and puzzles. Creative expression is encouraged through art, music, movement, dance and imaginative role play, giving children varied outlets to share their thoughts and feelings.

The Baby Room caters for children from 2 months until they begin walking, with a qualified nurse coordinator, paediatric-trained staff and a low child-to-staff ratio to give each baby individual attention, with daily sleep, feeding and toileting routines recorded for parents. The Toddler Class, for children aged 1 to 2 years, is an active playgroup where children begin forming first words and friendships through play in spacious, themed classrooms. The Preschool Class, for ages 2 to 3, builds on this with more structured activities across table-top zones, circle time and a mini library, preparing children for the next stage. Foundation Classes, for children aged 3 and above, focus on developing the social skills, confidence, independence and communication abilities children need for the transition to primary school, with the nursery noting that its graduates move on to a range of schools across the UAE.
