The Delhi Private School in Dubai and Sharjah are allegedly no longer affiliated to the Delhi Public School Society (DPS Society), according to DPS Society in Delhi.The DPS Society is one of the largest private chains of Indian schools established internationally. There are 11 schools abroad, which are associated with the society, including: Africa, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Kuwait, Nepal, Qatar, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and UAE.A source at the head office in Delhi, confirmed to Khaleej times that DPS Dubai and Sharjah are no longer associated with the DPS society. However, the pro-vice chairman of Delhi Private School Dubai, Dinesh Kothari, has insisted to Khaleej Times that the affiliation is still in place and that their contract "is under renewal". The DPS Dubai also issued a circular to parents on May 30, stating that their name, logo, local management, leadership and faculty remain unchanged.
